The current cost of living crisis has left lots in North Tyneside struggling to get by. Basic essentials like food, electric and heating have skyrocketed very quickly. The economy is in a fragile state after a long pandemic, war and instability around the world. Nobody should find themselves unable to afford to feed themselves or their family, but that is the case for thousands across our area.
There are however many community ran initiatives across the borough available to support, helping to ensure no one goes hungry in 2022.
